RESUME of Zlata Radovan

I started studying visual arts back in 1992
and have been painting, teaching and exhibiting ever since. Given my origins and
the turmoil that Balkan Peninsula endured in the last two decades, I have found
my piece and serenity in my art and my writing. My art is defined by the ethno
folklore of my childhood and the modern Australian influences.
My drawings and paintings are sold nationally and internationally to private
collectors and general public who take pride in having this type of artistic
expression displayed in homes and offices around the world.
Writing wise I do poems, novels and fiction.
I submitted manuscripts for children’s books
“Why Shimmery Lake doesn’t have rainy days”,
“How kookaburras began to laugh”
and “Why penguins have white bellies”
I work in kindergartens and schools helping kids and parents with background
other than English to adopt and understand English culture, as well as I do work
with children with learning problems.
I hope that you are going to enjoy my art
as well as I enjoy creating it…
